Our Story
King Tide Eatery is an authentic and locally owned Restaurant & Bar that has been proudly serving the Kaikōura area and beyond since the 1990's formally known as The Sonic. Since then, our mission has been to provide high-quality food with great refreshments in a casual ocean setting with the best views and brews in the town centre. Our mission is to combine fun and enjoyable ambiance with skillful cooking and drink making into one extraordinary experience.
